Acceptable Forms of Payment
- Cash is preferred (because there’s never issues with cash)
- Zelle is also accepted (however sometimes people don’t know how to use it, have limits on their account or find the transaction won’t go thru. If you choose to use Zelle please be sure you have used it and know how to use it and know that it will actually work. If you come to the test and cannot make the Zelle work then we would need to cancel your test for the day)
Testing and Travel Fees
- All tests except ATP/Initial CFI – $1100
- Airline Transport Pilot SE or ME – $1600
- Retest/Continue if you require both ground and flight portions – Same as full test.
- Retest/Continue for flight portion only is 50% normal test fee.
- Administrative Actions – Ground Instructor, CFI Renewal – $100
Travel Fees
- Home Airports are EGE, 27AZ, DTL (NO TRAVEL FEE IF YOU COME TO ME)
- Travel fees to other places are based on the time/expense getting there as well as the cost of hotels, rental cars, plane tickets or expenses to fly GA. Travel is expensive, especially to certain places based on how time consuming and the expense getting there.
- Common Travel Fees: In addition to the above testing fee, you will be charged a travel fee if travel is required, here are common locations I visit, these prices are test plus travel total.

- Central Mountains – ASE, LXV, SBS, HDN, GNB, 20V – (CFI/ATP: $2200 / All other Tests: $1400)
- Western Slope – GJT, MTJ, 7V2, AJZ, CAG (CFI/ATP: $2200 / All other Tests: $1400)
- BJC – Rocky Mountain Metro (CFI/ATP: $2200 / All other Tests: $1400)
- Phoenix Metro Airports (CFI/ATP: $2400 / All other Tests: $1500)
