Acceptable Forms of Payment
- Cash is preferred (because there’s never issues with cash)
- Zelle is also accepted (however sometimes people don’t know how to use it, have limits on their account or find the transaction won’t go thru. If you choose to use Zelle please be sure you have used it and know how to use it and know that it will actually work. If you come to the test and cannot make the Zelle work then we would need to cancel your test for the day)
Testing Fees
- All tests except ATP – $1000
- Airline Transport Pilot SE or ME – $1500
- I do not presently offer Initial CFI.
- Retest/Continue if you require both ground and flight portions – $1000
- Retest/Continue for flight portion only is 50% normal test fee.
- Administrative Actions – Ground Instructor, CFI Renewal – $100
Travel Fees
- Home Airport Is EGE (NO TRAVEL FEE IF YOU COME TO ME)
- My other “HOME” Airport with no travel fee is DTL when I’m there in the summer.
- In addition to the above testing fee, you will be charged a travel fee if travel is required, here are common locations I visit.
- Wickenburg, AZ – E25 and 27AZ – $300
- Glenwood Springs GWS, Rifle RIL CO – $100
- Central Mountains – ASE, LXV, SBS, HDN, GNB, 20V – $200
- Western Slope – GJT, MTJ, 7V2, AJZ, CAG – $300
- BJC – Rocky Mountain Metro – $300
- Phoenix Metro Airports – typically $400-$600 depending on travel arrangements.
- Other Places – Email to see what can be arranged.
- Travel fees to other places are based on the time/expense getting there as well as the cost of hotels, rental cars, plane tickets or expenses to fly GA. Travel is expensive, especially to certain places. In the case of local areas I simply charge $75/hr to hop in the car and drive over to you.
